BoB: on demand TV and radio for education

Have you ever seen something on broadcast TV or heard something on the radio that you’d like to share with your students, but not known how to capture it to use in school?

BoB is a TV and radio on-demand platform for education, created by the education charity Learning on Screen.

From The Sky at Night to BBC school programmes and episodes of Horizon, BoB contains a wealth of science – and other – programmes.

Staff and students at subscribing institutions can:

  • record programmes from over 75 free-to-air channels
  • search the archive of over 2.2 million broadcasts

To subscribe to BoB, education institutions need to be a member of Learning on Screen and hold an educational recording agency licence.
